Training Options
Do you have a brand new puppy or a dog that needs to replace some bad habits with good ones? Each dog has its own personality and reacts differently to training. We will help you develop a training method that works for you and your dog's needs. We offer group classes as well as private one-on-one lessons.
Meet the trainers
Rebecca Almy - ABC certified dog trainer
Rebecca teaches a variety of dog training classes and private lessons. She has been a certified dog trainer since 2004. She has worked with hundreds of dogs over the last 20 years. Her strengths are problem solving, dealing with behavioral issues, and customer service. Dog training should be fun for both you and your dog. Rebecca helps make the training process fun and enjoyable for both canine and human.
Chloe Norrick - ABC certified dog trainer
Chloe teaches a variety of classes and private lessons. She received her dog training certification in 2024 but has been working with dogs since 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Smith College and during her time on campus volunteered as a puppy raiser for a service dog organization. She has always wanted to work with dogs and is especially interested in working to help dogs with behavioral challenges.

Puppy Preschool Class (Three weeks) $75
Congratulations on your new puppy! This class provides fun and engaging ways to help build a brave, resilient and responsive dog. The class focuses on socialization, basic cues, along with helping to troubleshoot common puppy owner struggles. To ensure the safety of your pup, the facility is disinfected prior to each class.

Basic Obedience (Six weeks) $145
For beginners or those that want to refresh the basics. This class focuses on: Eye contact, loose leash walking, hand targets, sitting, greeting/no jumping, leave/drop/take, come/recall. This is a great class for any dog or puppy 12 weeks and older.

Advanced Obedience (Five Weeks) $125
This class will work on refreshing the basics as well as advanced commands. Your pup will master loose leash walking, sitting on command, stay, come with distractions and some tricks.

Basic Agility & Advanced Agility Class (Four weeks) $100
These classes are great for anyone interested in teaching their dog agility. Each class you and your dog will build on skills and techniques for different obstacles. These include weave poles, pause table, tunnel, jumps and more.
* Prerequisites:
1) Dogs and owners MUST be physically able to run and jump
2) Dogs must be 1 year old or older.
3) Those interested in advanced agility MUST have taken basic agility.—

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep Classes (Four weeks) $100 (Testing is $30 - separate charge)
This class will prep your dog for the non competitive Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.
Testing includes: Meeting strangers, sitting for petting, appearance/grooming, leash walking, walking in a crowd, sit/down on command, stay in place, coming when called, reaction to another dog, and supervised separation.
*Testing is not required. This is a great class for additional training.
*Prerequisites: Basic & Advanced Obedience

Stress Free Pet (Two-weeks) $110
A specialized class for dogs and their owners eager to learn techniques to help their dog "calm down", "chill out", and pay attention! A solid foundation in the basics of communication and cooperation lay the ground work for your pet to learn to "get along" in their environment. This class guides you in learning how to communicate your clear expectations for specific behaviors to promote harmony at home and reduce stress on you and your pet.

Urban Rat Hunt (4 weeks) $100
Hone your dog's natural instinct to hunt and teach them to sniff out rats in this fun, enriching, and mentally stimulating class. We will begin with the introduction (or re-introduction) to a rat in a tube, build value for the scent of a live rat, and develop your dog's natural instinct to search for it using their keen sense of smell.

Private Lessons
We offer one on one private training lessons. If you can't commit to a class or need specific commands to learn. We have several options. Please call and speak to Rebecca to see how we can meet your needs.
*We have package deals if you need more than one training session.
*Sessions can be broken up into 30-minute intervals when needed.
